Ocassionally, I have been asked to do renderings of buildings. Here are a few samples.
I generally work from photographs. I do like to visit the site, if possible, to be sure that I get all the details and take advantage of a good perspective view.
The house is one of our victorian era homes in Barnesville. The church is one of our landmarks also, and the drawing to the right is of our local depot.

These samples are all in pen and ink, although I have done some in color. One option is to have
a line drawing done and reproduce that as a notecard, then have the original hand colored with
watercolor. The final piece can then be matted and framed.

These are renderings of two courthouses that were reproduced on crocks and ornaments.
